Alex completed her Doctor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne in 2018, followed by a Postgraduate Certificate in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy in 2021. She brings a broad clinical background—from acute hospital care to animal physiotherapy—and has always had a strong focus on both mentoring and lifelong learning.
Her interest in pelvic health began during her DPT and has since evolved into a deep passion, particularly in helping athletes return to sport and activity after pelvic floor dysfunction. She has a special interest in treating people with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and hypermobility conditions, combining evidence-based care with an understanding of the unique challenges this population faces. Alex is registered with the EDS Society and with the Neurodiverse Practitioners of Australia.
In July 2025, Alex completed her Master of Physiotherapy (Pelvic Health) through the University of Melbourne, further advancing her clinical expertise in this specialist area.
After 16 years away, Alex is proud to be working back in her hometown of Mornington. She now lives in West Gippsland, where she runs a commercial farm and spends her time with her horses, dogs, cats and miniature sheep—while finalising renovating a 1930s farmhouse!
