
MPFP assists many men with a variety of pelvic floor disorders, including men pre- and post- prostate surgery, with bladder symptoms, voiding problems, bowel control, constipation, pelvic pain and erectile dysfunction. Our men’s health physiotherapists work closely with your urologist, urology nurse and you to achieve the best possible outcome.
Each patient is individually assessed prior to treatment commencing and a detailed and unique health care plan is designed. Pelvic Floor exercises, bladder training and whole body exercise prescription are all part of recovery.
MPFP ‘Pump Pilates for Men’ is specifically designed for pre & post prostate cancer treatment in men. The 1 hour class is designed to assist in regaining physical strength, improve continence and pelvic floor function, as well as enhance mood, endurance, ease pain and muscular tension.
